Sesame Street Live

I know I'm posting out of date order but I had to get these pics up!

Isabella LOVED the Elmo's Coloring Book Show. We went to the show with Grandma Sue, Aunt TT, Kelsey and Kylie.

Aunt TT drove and Kelsey - being a typical two-and-a-half-year-old - asked every few minutes "Are we there yet?" in her cute little voice. Grandma Sue sat in the back seat with all the girls (thankfully Aunt TT drives a BIG SUV with three rows of seats) to keep them busy for the car ride.

We ate at Wendy's before the show and none of the girls ate any of their lunch because they were too excited. Once we got to the Civic Center, we parked in a scary parking deck (I thought the truck might get stuck). We got in to the center and found our floor seats and right as we go to sit down Isabella almost falls through the back of the folding chair (Now, we paid premium prices for these tickets, and we got folding chairs! Not fair!). I caught her thank goodness but during the show Kelsey wasn't as lucky as she fell through the back of the chair and cracked her head on the cement floor. She screamed and bled a little but she got checked out and all was fine. After an Icee and some hugs and kisses, all was right with the world and the show!

We all had a really great time!

Reading with Mommy

Isabella loves books!

Each night we curl up and read before she heads off to bed. Check out these pics from one of those nights and note how nice I look - not! (Ha Ha)

Sneakerheads make shoe tracks

Kevin made the Cincinnati Enquirer's Sunday edition!

He headed to Cinny with some shoe-buds to attend the Cincinnati Sneaker Showcase. In toe, some of their unique shoes! They were the hit of the show having the only pairs of hard-to-find Lebron's and Air Jordan shoes.

Check out the article and his quote at

Chi-town

Kevin is managing a project for work in Chicago. He's visited the city a few times for a day or two, but never was there long enough to have fun - until this week. He was gone Monday-Friday.

While there, he went to a Chicago Bulls play-off game and was treated like royalty. (He's got a "shoe friend" who is the special events coordinator for the Bulls for he got Kevin free tickets in one the the team's loges.)

Looks like he had a great time! But we'd rather he be home with us!

Easter pics from the Gaylords

After a really busy morning at church and at Mama & Papa Kramer's, we headed to Mama &Papa Gaylord's to see them. The Easter Bunny must have known that I was coming because he (or she) left lots of presents!
I love Zoe!

Thanks for all the cool stuff Aunt Julie & Uncle Chris!

Elmo & Zoe really will grow when I put them under water? That's so cool!

Wow Mommy! The Easter Bunny sure brought me a lot of stuff.

He must know that I really love Elmo.

Thanks for helping me color a mermaid picture, Uncle Chris. (Did you know that Uncle Tim & Aunt Melissa got this for me from the Easter Bunny?)

Hoppy Easter @ the Kramer House

Wow! Look what the Easter Bunny brought me at Mama Sue's & Papa Al's!

Daddy look at my pretty rocks that Papa Al shined for me.

Aunt TT, that's Kylie's headband.

We really weren't bad. We just wanted to sit at our own table!

Sshh! I found an egg!

Aunt Melissa will help Kylie find eggs.

We get money for finding eggs? Can I go look for some more?

My painted toes

Even though I'm really behind in posting pics from Easter, I wanted to get the pics up from Isabella's first toenail polish. I thought painting her toes would be a fun excitement-builder for her trip to see Sesame Street Live. She was going to wear a new dress and new open-toed sandals. Pretty toes poking out!

She thought the drying part was the most fun!

Busy Beautiful Weekend

Wow! Finally some beautiful weather in Northeast Ohio!

We took full advantage of the lovely weather and played outside A LOT! Isabella played with bubbles, her bike, her swing set and much more. She got her toenails painted for the very first time. She helped mommy and daddy give Kalli & Molly baths at the U bathe M pet shop. She went to Sesame Street Live with mommy, Grandma Sue, Aunt TT and cousins Kelsey and Kylie!

What a weekend! We have tons of pics to share so check back a lot this week!

Wiggle worms

Getting Isabella, Kylie and Kelsey to sit still, look at the camera, have eyes open and smile all at the same time is nearly impossible. Add the excitement of Easter and there's no hope of a GREAT photo.

McDonald's Playland

After the Easter Egg Hunt, we took Isabella for chicken nuggets - her favorite food of the minute. After she ate, she and Daddy had great fun playing in Playland. Isabella even got Daddy to go up in the play tubes with her. Some of the other mom's looked scared that the tubes wouldn't support him, but everyone made it down the slide safe!

I can help Papa

Isabella is Miss Independent! And she shows it when she tries to help everyone do anything. Here she helps Papa get together his clothes before he heads off to work.

Hey that tickles

We celebrated "Mama's" birthday with cake and pizza on April 3. Aunt Julie gets some laughs out of a very grumpy Isabella using a vibrating pig massager.

Blog slacker

That's what I'm calling myself!

Even though I'm home with Isabella all day, I find so little time to get on the computer to upload photos. Ever since I've taken on my 10-year class reunion, all my free time goes to calling classmates or caterers or updating that Web site.

But no excuses!! I pledge to try to update you with pics this week from Easter and other Isabella adventures!

My Pretty Braids

Isabella's hair is finally long enough to french braid. She sat still enough for me to braid each side of her head but it didn't stay in too long since she still loves to pull out rubberbands.

The Easter Egg Hunt

With Cousins Kelsey & Kylie, Aunt TT, Uncle Keith and Mom & Dad, Isabella raced with other kids to find eggs at the local city-sponsored Easter Egg Hunt.

The kids four and under got to run around and grab as many eggs as they could. It lasted all of two minutes - mostly because other kids' parents picked up eggs for their kids. The girls were afraid of the Easter Bunny but Kelsey finally stood by him for a cute picture.

We planned to hit another egg hunt this weekend but with freezing temps and a snow-covered ground, no Easter Egg Hunts are in our future.

Me & My Shadow

This crazy Ohio weather!

One day late last week Isabella and I got to enjoy a few minutes of mild weather. We took a short walk before heading off to run errands. Here she discovers that something - or someone - is following her.
