Philly Part 1

We were lucky to visit King of Prussia (just outside Valley Forge near Philadelphia) with Grandma Sue and Papa Al to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Aunt Aleta and Uncle Ralph in July. We started out early Saturday morning to make it in time for the evening reception. Isa was good in the car (thank goodness for DVDs). When we arrived, we checked into the hotel which was full of family members there for the weekend celebration. It was so neat! Since we made good time, we stopped for lunch and then, while everyone else napped, Isa and I headed to the pool! The evening reception was nice and we got to meet family we'd not seen before so that was a treat.

I love all the pictures, but I really like the one where she's looking up....like she's gazing at the sky or something! :-)

Love the last picture, maybe she was calling Kelsey and telling her about her busy weekend! :-) Hope she had fun at gymnastics!

Thank you for the beautiful photos from that weekend! We'll try to add them to the others we've received from our 50th wedding anniversary and mini-family reunion. It meant so much to us having your beautiful little family here with us in King of Prussia. We know it wasn't easy for you. 'Hope we can do it again sometime. Love, Great Aunt Aleta & Uncle Ralph
