Before you can bake brownies, you have to warm up the oven. Bad thing about this time though was that Grandma Mary forgot she had put some store-bought cupcakes in the oven for safe keeping. Oops! Funny thing - the plastic didn't even small bad burning. It smelled liked cupcakes!
The brownies were delicious!

Oops, those things can happen! I bet the brownies were very tasty. Jakob loves to help out in the kitchen too! Hope your Memorial Day weekend was great and that you got to enjoy the fantastic weather.
Looks like a fun time!!!! And as for the cupcakes...I do that kind of thing ALL the time. I can't tell you how many things I have "burned" that were hidden in my stove that I forgot about. LOL! Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
